How Do MAGconnexx Magnetic Building Blocks work?
The Square and Triangle blocks connect simply by using the power of the built-in, small magnets which are locked inside of the specially toughened ABS plastic and rotate in any direction.
This is what allows your child/children to connect each piece together. The pieces can be connected side by side or on top of each other.
Although the magnets are powerful enough to keep the blocks connected together, your child will easily be able to pull them apart, as they are easy to grip.
Depending on your child's age they may want to start playing with the magnetic blocks as flat 2D shapes, which are called ‘nets’.
A net is a 2-Dimensional shape that can be folded to form a 3-Dimensional shape or a solid.
A net is also a pattern made, when the surface of a 3-Dimensional figure is laid out flat showing each face of the figure.
For example, when making 3D shapes like cubes and pyramids they can be opened or unfolded along their edges to create a flat shape which is then called a net.
When playing with the magnetic shapes the construction possibilities are endless..
